Nike through its Nike “On Air” contest allows independent designers to reinvent mythical models from its history. One of the flagship models of this program is the Nike Air Max 97 Shanghai Kaleidoscope created by Cash Ru.
The artist was inspired by the city of Shanghai to create this pair. This model is composed of a light blue base mixing suede and TPU in black leather on several layers. Hints of white give the Air Max 97 an airy look. The design of the pair is embellished with red details, such as the Nike swoosh.
Three swooshes on the insoles, accompanied by the same number of pulls on the heel and tongue, complete this Shanghai Kaleidoscope version as a final signature.
