Our beloved Air Max 1 is celebrating its 35th anniversary! For the occasion, Nike is unveiling a special version of its iconic model, exclusively released in Asia and South America, as part of the Air Max Day in 2022.

The Nike Air Max 1 Wabi-Sabi is based on a Japanese philosopher who advocates minimalism and beauty in imperfection. It features a white canvas upper that is enhanced by powder pink and ochreleather overlays. Several brown and khaki green suede inserts on the mudguard and heel oscillate between the shoes and add a mismatch effect . The entire structure is covered with white stitching. Red embroidery forms the number “XXXV ” in reference to the 35th anniversary of the range Air Max . A “Have A Nike Day” motif covers the heel. The shoe is set on a distressed sole with a cracked pattern on the rubber outsole.
